Meet The Team

Noel Braham

CEO | Director, Writer, Producer |

NOEL BRAHAM is a writer, director, and producer who was recently nominated for two Daytime Emmy awards for his latest project, WATCHTOWER - Outstanding Special Class Directing and Outstanding Special Class Short Format Programming. The project also screened at the 73rd Cannes Film Festival (Shorts Corner).

A survivor of homelessness, and stark advocate for disenfranchised communities, Noel uses his creative platform to weave elements of social justice into his work, as well as using his voice to diversify traditional landscapes into his own world view. This concept is best realized in his project, STAR WARS EXILE, which was nominated and won in the Disney/ Lucas Fan Film Awards for Best VFX and Best Choreography - an honor Noel holds close to his heart as an avid sci-fi junkie. You can find Star Wars Exile on StarWars.com.

Noel’s philanthropic accolades include the role as founder and co-director of the Micheaux Film Festival, which under his leadership, in 2021, made headlines as the first film festival to successfully return to theaters on the West Coast since the covid-19 shutdown. The festival honored legendary actor and filmmaker Robert Townsend; and garnered sponsorship from media juggernauts SONY Pictures, the Oprah Winfrey Network and Panavision. Noel has been featured in Forbes, Deadline and Black Enterprise for his work with the multicultural film festival.

Still eager to give back to the industry, Noel serves as a judge for the Daytime Emmy awards as an active member of the National Television Academy.

Noel lives by the belief, “Our self-image is so powerful, it unwittingly becomes our destiny,” - a quote from Oscar Micheaux and a testament to Noel’s philosophy.

Courtney L. Branch

Creative Executive| Producer |

Upon graduating with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Georgia State University, Courtney spent several years in New York, where she jump-started her television career with a fellowship with CBS This Morning. After working between the Atlanta and New York markets and her work being recognized for two Emmy nominations, Courtney relocated to Los Angeles, where she operated in the Producer position on Daytime’s #1 talk show, Dr. Phil produced at Paramount Studios. As a casting producer, she has worked for Lifetime, Food Network, Fox and BET. Her most recent accomplishment in the unscripted space was helping to launch the digital network, Fox Soul, an OTT platform, where she produced over 1,000 hours of live television during her tenure.
